Honey Lemon Tea with Turmeric, Ginger, and Cayenne

Ingredients

teaspoon
turmeric
1/8
teaspoon
ginger
pinch
cayenne pepper
juice of 1/2 meyer lemon
~1 tablespoon

teaspoons
raw honey
1 1/2
cups
warm-to-hot
160ºF water
Instructions
In a generously-sized mug, combine the spices, lemon juice, and honey. Top off the mug with the hot water, stir, and enjoy.
Notes
To retain the health benefits of the enzymes found in raw honey, do not heat the water above 160ºF.
